Lifestyle precinct at Tun Razak Exchange to open in 4Q2023
Stores will consist of “new-to-market brands, statement shops, together with reimagined shop formats”. Support tenants consist of Golden Display Cinemas, Japanese chain store Seibu, and Hong Kong’s Dairy Farm Group. There will also be 100 eating shops.
The Exchange TRX, the lifestyle district of the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) in Kuala Lumpur, is set to open in 4Q2023. According to developer Landlease, The Exchange TRX will most likely have greater than 400 outlets throughout four retail levels, by having 1.3 million sq ft of total net lettable area.
Wilson includes that tenancy levels at The Exchange TRC are “well ahead of market ratios”. “We believe the unique retail mix complemented by dynamic leisure including recreation activations will work as a key point of distinction and even will steer viewers to stick around even longer also make repeated tours.”

The Exchange TRX will have a 10-acre rooftop public-activated place. Called TRX City Park, it is developed by Lendlease in partnership with landscaping designers Oculus & Pentago.
